We intend to help others futher the cause
Foundation projects include the creation and maintenance of a website where experts can contribute, debate and discuss findings. The purpose of the website is to help the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg to quicker process their backlog on Human Rights Cases. It also helps experts, NGO's Thinktanks and other interested parties be up-to-date on pending and historical Human Rights issues in Europe.
Another project supports the creation of a specialized search engine for academics, jurists, experts, and civil servants. The Foundation has provided funding for scholarly conferences on issues touching religion and the state in Europe, and seeks in particular to support considered scholarly contributions for issues before the European Court of Human Rights.
Foundation projects are supported by a centre in Brussels, providing interdisciplinary research support as well as conference and publishing facilities in Brussels where established scholars and graduate students of law and other disciplines exchange views with each other and with European policy makers.
Special attention will be directed to encouraging the work of doctoral and advanced masters students working under the direction of qualified academic mentors.
Non Governmental Organisations in the field of Freedom of Religion or Belief are invited to propose collaboration and joint effort.
A board of Trustees is responsible for al its entities and funds, and oversees complicity of activities to the NoodtForB mission and statutes.
An advisory board of leading European and international academics will provide substantive guidance in the development of Foundation policy and the selection and evaluation of Foundation projects.
Funding for the foundation comes from Gerard Noodt family and others seeking to support advances in freedom of religion or belief.
One participates as an individual, not as representatives of other organizations, governments, religions, or belief communities.
